Micro Flowmeter System for Liquids

The GeSiM microfluidic flow sensor measures small flow rates, such as those in microfluidic systems. It features a thermocalorimetric measurement. The liquid is heated up slightly, the temperature profile is analyzed and digitalized by an integrated A/D-converter. The measurement range starts at less than one µl/min and goes up to approx. 100 ul/min. The flowmeter connects to a PC through a serial interface (RS232) and comes with a WindowsTM based measurement software.

Configurations

The micro flowmeter comprises cascadable sensor modules and controller modules. It allows the easy setup of multifold sensor arrays with one up to sixteen sensors (In any combination). Different tubes and tube adapters provide a quick integration into your system setup.

Measurement Software

The control software supports the linearization of sensor characteristics, the display of the measured curves in one or more fully configurable diagrams and the storing of the data in spreadsheet-compatible formats. And all that for a surprisingly low price.
