Welcome to GeSiM!

The Gesellschaft für Silizium-Mikrosysteme mbH (GeSiM) was founded in 1995 as a microsystems and instrumentation company. GeSiM is specialized in the  low-volume liquid handling for the life sciences. GeSiM provides micro dosage and pipetting products, including micro arrayers. Based on a proprietary dispenser design, these pipetting instruments belong to the most flexible arrayers available.

In addition, GeSiM has devoted itself to the development of micro fluidic flowthrough systems. Micro structuring methods are used to manufacture miniaturized fluidic components from silicon, glass, ceramics and PDMS to create products which cannot be made by conventional methods. GeSiM's specialty is the ability to offer complete tailor-made solutions to customers, which include not only the etching of microchips, but also the chip packaging, the integration into complete instruments, and the development of the control software (World-Chip Interface).

Equipment for Micro-Contact Printing is the latest extension of the GeSiM portfolio. A proprietary pneumatic printing technology features PDMS stamps for surface patterning for Biology and Nano Technology.
